Sitting in for Climate Justice: photos from the action

This sit-in marks an extraordinary feat of organizing across numerous groups on campus. Students from Mobilized African Diaspora (MAD), Divest Barnard, Student Worker Solidarity (SWS), No Red Tape (NRT), Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and Apartheid Divest organized separate actions across campus before converging on Low steps around 4 p.m. 40 CDCJ activists entered Low Library while members of BCSN staged a rally outside.

Dreams and Visions

As a person born in Zimbabwe, and raised in South Africa, Ivory Coast and Tunisia, I have always had to negotiate my own identities in different racial/ethnic/national/cultural terrains and these works are about that tension.
